My dog has been used to chronic on and off diarrhea at times, and has always been on a probiotic powder but while it helps has not always been enough on its own to not have the odd loose stool.

My 9 year old Pugle (Pug / Beagle mix) has a delicate stomach. The gurgling would start at 4 or 5 a.m. and be so loud it would wake me and she'd need to go outside, often looking for grass to eat. I have a multiple time rescue (lab shepherd mix). He's had mild to medium pancreatitis attacks for the past 5 years. They are stress related from his horrible early life -- anything can set off these bouts of discomfort. When it happens (about every two to three weeks) he stops eating, paces, and just looks unhappy. I've had him see multiple vets and one suggested a probiotic. I started the WellyTail probiotic (it was comprehensive and it's pricepoint indicated it was a serious product), about 8 months ago now.
