I use it most as a topper (good portion) and my dog Crissy goes crazy for it. This is an excellent food and easy to make up and freeze in 3 day portions. I will be purchasing more for sure!!!

Our pack goes in circles for WellyChef. Fresh is so much better for them.

My old puppy loves this mix. He has arthritis and I decided to try home meals rather than kibble since it causes inflammation sure. Now He’s up at the crack of dawn waiting for breakfast! He’s 13 and has never been one to be out of bed until I am but I guess you can teach old dog new tricks with the right food. :)

I love this concept. I think it's a great product, but unfortunately my little girl won't touch it. However I mentioned that to WellyTails and they immediately issued a refund, and then told me how to possibly get her to eat it as treats! 10 stars for customer service!

Super happy with this food! Our maltipoo has been having so many tummy troubles and urinary infections over the years and we were looking for something healthy for her. She is a picky eater and she loves this stuff! She gets so excited when it’s time to eat. We are so thankful we found this food :)

Stewart digs WellyChef. We use beef, pork and turkey to give our dachshunds grain free fresh foods.

My chihuahua did not spit it out as she does with a lot of foods, so when I mixed it with the meats that I cooked and fed it to her she ate the lot! She is very picky so I am happy to say she has not spit it out! It mixes well and has not disrupted her bathroom motions so all is well LOL
Great product !

Rosie loves Wellytails .. We're confident that she's getting high quality meals.

The product came in a timely fashion and the instructions were well laid out. Unfortunately, my dog won’t eat it. He turns his nose up at it no matter what meat is mixed in and no matter if it’s fresh or frozen. Glad I got the smallest bag. I do believe I’m past the return window time for a refund. Very unfortunate.

It is very easy too make, and my Sheltie loved it. She has issues with some dog foods but this agreed with her.

Welly Chef for Adult dogs base mix is easy to mix up and my dog has no issues with it. She has had gut issues in the past but so far not a problem. It would be great to see this product sold in pet stores locally but ordering online is simple and quick. Thanks for a great product.

Easy to use, and my dog likes it.

Im not using it according to the recipe. Rather I am adding about 1/2tsp of dry powder to the liquid I use to soften the kibble. (My 10 lb, 14 yr old pup is toothless.) This is lightly nuked to warm it and to soak in the moisture better. To that mix I add 1/4 C of chopped up chicken or beef. He will eventually eat his meal, but isnt enthusiastic. He does like the powder Hip etc supplement added to his breakfast. Probably just his age that makes him hesitant, Im not sure that he hasnt got a bit of dementia starting.
Do you recommend any changes to that routine?

WellyChef base mix is great!
- It’s quick and easy to make. I mix it with tubes of ground chicken or turkey. Its easy to store and serve.
- It’s healthy ingredients that I recognize. No one tries to feed the dog extra because ‘poor thing is eating kibble’. Our dog likes the taste and it sits well with her digestion.
- I like the instruction pamphlet with all the prep options and dietary info.
- My vet was happy with my dog’s weight loss and her general health.
-My dog is closer to her healthy weight, she is active and happy.
- WellyChef has made a positive difference in my dog!

My 15 y/o shih-poo loves it! Took her off commercial dog food about 5 yrs ago when she was diagnosed with pancreatitis and have never looked back. I can control the protein...quality and amount...to meet her needs.

My girl LOVES Wellytails, she licks her bowl clean everytime! ❤️

My dogs really anticipated their feeding time now. They eat 50% Welly and 50% kibble. They enjoy the meat a lot. Their poop is smaller and their breath is better with the addition to dental power also. I do cook my recipe, for a chicken/turkey meat, the average is 800gr per recipe for the final product. The instruction are clear and the little book is an amazing ressource when learning to feed fresh food. I do add supplement and offal to their meals, heart and liver. I would love if the recipe book had 1-2 recipe with some heart and liver. Or to help calculate how much meat to remove to balance with heart and liver.

She likes us to awesome

My dog just loves the Welly Chef base mix. I mix it up with different proteins to keep it interesting and she’s never left any food in her bowl. I switched her to welly after being diagnosed with a heart condition and she’s doing really well with the change in food.

I love that this food is so easy to prepare. All 3 of my dogs love it no matter which proteins I have made with it. I will definitely purchase again.

Since my yorkies have been on the supplements their hair is shinny and their overall happiness has improved. My pregnant girls were on this supplement, the puppies are so healthy, every pup that sold, I had raving reviews on "how smart" they were, I suggest that it is the puppy smart supplement that they started their new life with and also Mom's supplements while the pups were under construction!!!!! As for the Welly Chef, my dogs love this stuff, I just cook ground turkey and then add the mixture and a little moisture, they gobble it up! I personally love these products, all my new puppy parents use them and best of all,,,,,, they are made in CANADA!
Marnie S.
My dogs love Welly Chef! I switched to this at my sisters recommendation after my dog suffered gastroenteritis. It has improved their digestive issues, their teeth appear to have improved in appearance and it's been very easy to get my dogs to take her medication daily because she loves to eat the food. Highly recommend!
Joe S.
Our Shelties love this product! The ingredients list is so full of great foods! Wonderful to have something that's both nutritious and tasty!
Laura D.
My dogs love this food and are so lean and healthy. My 3year old is more playful than the new puppy who just started eating it. Their poops are so firm that the anal glands are clean.
Trang J.
I'm Lou, 13 year old. This is a great product, help me keep healthy and happy. I love it, thank you WellyTails

I mixed the WellyTails base dog food with ground turkey according to the directions included on the package and my VERY picky dog liked it! That’s a good thing because she turns her nose up at fresh homemade food a lot. She didn’t love it, but liking it is very good. It was pretty easy to mix, but you do need a kitchen scale in order to follow the recipes. I like that all if the essential vitamins and minerals are measured out in the base mix. Handy! One thing: she didn’t seem to fully digest all of the veggies in the mix because you could still see them in “the evidence” after it came out the other end. Even with a probiotic added, the little veggie bits were still there. Overall a good experience and the WellyTails base mix is a great back up for when we are out of our dog’s regular food. 4/5 stars and a thumbs up!

We prefer fresh food for our pups so we love this. The new formula is a lot easier to prepare.
