We have had Elmo for about 9 years.....he was a rescue dog.....he had been very badly treated. The vet thought he was about 2 years old when we got him. Recently he has had problems with one of his rear legs.......difficultly standing up after he has been lying down for a while & limping once he was up. Our vet thought it was a ligament problem, but, after Xrays it was determined to probably be the onset of arthritis. I have been using this joint supplement for years. I have never found anything that works as well. I had a doberman-lab cross years ago that had grinding in his knees, and this fixed it. He lived to 15. I'm currently using it on my 15 year old cattle dog too and it helps keep her mobile. Most recently we adopted a 7 year old cattle dog with a big limp. Abbey, my female Yellow Lab turned 15 last Dec. At the approx. age of 13 she started to experience joint (mostly hips) and back pain from arthritis as is often the case with older dogs. With the guidance of her vet, we tried to manage her pain with pharmaceuticals which caused her issues with her liver and spleen to the point I thought I was going to lose her. At this point, I discussed the possibility of taking a more holistic approach with a change in diet and using joint supplements. Her new diet and supplements (other brands) seemed to help some and she started feeling better.
In 2018 I discovered Welly Tales Hip & Joint Supplements at a local Pet Supply Store. The owner had been using it on her dog and was very pleased with the results. So, I tried it with good results and no negative side affects.
Fast forward to November 2020 - ran out of the product while out of town, was not terribly concerned, thinking when I we get home I'll just go pick some up. Back in town, my Pet Supply store had been forced to close in July due to Covid-19 concerns, other pet stores did not carry it, YIKES!! By now Abbey had been without WT H&J supplements for nearly 3 weeks and was showing signs of discomfort. Unable to find a quick source anywhere and she needed it ASAP. Called the Welly Tales Co., talked to the owner, explained our situation and he agreed to ship it out immediately!! Within 4 days, it arrived and I couldn't have been more thankful!! We will never run out again and I would gladly recommend this to any dog owner. Follow the instructions. Our dogs don't live nearly long enough so, it's up to us to provide the best quality of life we can give them. I can only speak for our experience with this product but, it certainly has made a difference in Abbey's remaining time. yes, I have been feeding your supplement for the last 6 - 7 weeks to my two German Shorthaired Pointers who are sisters and are 11 yrs. young, both have been very active great hunting dogs, one of the sisters came up with a substantial limp in the right front leg from a injury about 5 yrs back, the Vet suspects Arthritis in that leg and says because of her age . likely surgery is not a good option . I had heard of your Welly tail program and placed her on the supplement, have had really good results and this dog is running and exercising like her old self with very little limp and no soreness, her sister had an ACL problem that was worked on an so I have her on it as well and she is doing excellent also.
